AIML@TU — AI/ML Club at the University of Tulsa

Student organization for AI and machine learning at the University of Tulsa, co-founded by Dallas in Spring 2024.

What it is

AIML@TU is the Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Club at the University of Tulsa. Dallas co-founded the club in Spring 2024 and served as its Graduate President from Fall 2024 through Spring 2026, recently transitioning to Outreach Director. He also created and maintains the club website. The club runs workshops, invited talks, and a vibe-coding series for undergrads — focused on hands-on work with modern AI tools rather than lecture-only content.

Activities have included sessions on using Claude Code, Codex, and Gemini CLI for real projects; workshops on LLM security and red-teaming; and collaboration with the broader TU Cyber program. Dallas organized and led three Multi-Club Mashup events on campus, as well as the inaugural Hurricane Hackathon (details and links on the club site). The club aims to give TU students earlier, more direct exposure to the AI development workflows that industry and research now expect.

Status

Active and meeting regularly. Dallas now serves as Outreach Director after two years as Graduate President.
